It is OK to be Still Right Now

First of all, I think it is fair to say that during this time as we know called quarantine, we are in this together! It is important that we understand that we are not alone during these times. I have without a doubt had my fair share of ups and downs during this quarantine. This is mostly due to having to create new routines to get acclimated to my work from home routines alongside everything else happening around me. The positive side to this is that this is temporary and I trust in God that we will all get through these unprecedented times.

I have been using this time to stay inspired and to stay motivated and get things done that I may not have had this much time to spare to accomplish things. Being home has allowed me more time to reflect on the things of life which has led me to understand that everything I need I can find or create space for in my humble abode.

Although this maybe a scary season for all of us, it is actually a beautiful, pivotal season for us all. It is a time where God is teaching us to press forward. This is a time to be more focused on him and trust him deeply. This is an opportunity to focus on our goals with minimal distractions. Here are some ideas that I have been using to stay motivated and productive: Pray — which has kept my inner peace still, discover new at home workout ideas and/or listen to your favorite music. As my blog is used to express my thoughts, it may be helpful to document your feelings or how this new routine has been teaching you, challenging you, or motivating you.

Our circumstances are unique to each of us (our households) right now. Do what is necessary for YOU right now and continue to remain steadfast and trust in God that “he will never leave us or forsake us” Deuteronomy 31:6.
